Why is there no straw in my bottle? And why doesn’t the product pump out straight away?

We heard you! Many of you told us that with the old straw bottles, it was tricky to get every last drop of product. So, thanks to your feedback, we’ve upgraded our Serums and Face Creams to airless pump bottles - sleek, straw-free and designed to give you every drop of GOO-dness.

Airless pumps keep your product fresh, hygienic and reduce waste. On first use, it’s completely normal to shake the bottle gently and pump a few times until the product starts to come out. After that, it should dispense smoothly.

So, what makes an airless pump special? Instead of a straw, it uses a vacuum mechanism. Each pump slowly lifts a disk at the bottom of the bottle, pushing the cream or serum up while keeping it sealed from air. This helps maintain the potency of the ingredients and ensures every pump is as fresh and effective as the first.

How is this formula different from the old Face Cream?

Our updated formula now includes Avenaplex™ and Pentavitin®, two powerhouse ingredients for skin hydration, resilience and anti-aging.

What skin types is this cream suitable for?

Our Anti-Aging Skin Renewal Cream is designed for all skin types, including dry, combination and sensitive skin. Its lightweight, easily absorbed formula hydrates and nourishes without feeling greasy. As it's an anti-aging formula, we don't recommend this for kids.

How does this cream help reduce fine lines?

It combines deeply hydrating ingredients like Olive Squalane, Avenaplex™ and Pentavitin® with Lactic Acid to smooth texture and plump the skin. Over time, this helps soften the appearance of fine lines while strengthening skin resilience.

How often should I use it?

For optimal results, use morning and night. Daily use helps maintain hydration, support collagen, and protect against free radical damage.

Will it protect my skin from the sun?

While it helps repair sun damage thanks to Vitamin C, it does not contain SPF, so daily sun protection is still recommended!

Can lifestyle choices affect results?

Yes. Smoking, poor diet and excess sun exposure can accelerate skin aging, so combining healthy lifestyle choices with daily moisturizing maximizes results.

What ingredients do you avoid when making a moisturizer?

There's lots of things you won't find in this cream (or any of our other products) because they were all formulated for family members and close friends. This includes Paraffin and Mineral Oil which derive from petroleum, but are commonly found in commercial moisturizers like Sorbolene. We don’t think putting the stuff that goes into our cars on our skin is the healthiest thing we can do.

We also don’t use any synthetic preservatives such as Parabens and Phenoxyethanol, although they're pretty common too, including with a few brands that claim to be natural (you know who you are!). We avoid a lot of other things too, way too many to list here. We also don't use any useless, trendy ingredients like stem cells from Swiss apples or super power jellyfish DNA, just natural, effective ingredients for healthy skin.

My cream isn’t white. Does this mean it’s gone bad?

Since we use natural ingredients in our products, you may sometimes notice a change in color to your cream, particularly this one. A change in color is normal and should be expected since we don’t use any bleaching agents to keep the cream bright white. Natural ingredients are also often rich in color and can change the color of a cream after it's mixed in. Don’t be surprised if this cream changes to a light tan color over time. It’s not a bad thing.

Is this moisturiser made of milk?

We aren’t called MooGoo because our products are made with milk. If you think about it, putting any meaningful amount of fresh milk into a cream and then putting it on a shelf in a store for a while would not end well – yuck! We do use ethically and sustainably sourced Milk Protein from a credible Australian supplier in a some of our skincare products because research has found that it helps to increase skin elasticity by up to 20%.

I’m Lactose intolerant. Are MooGoo products safe for me to use?

Almost all of our products do not contain milk, except for our Cleansing Bars. We do add Milk Protein to some of our moisturizing creams as it happens to be very good for maintaining skin elasticity and for protecting the hair shaft in our Hair Care products. The protein is not related to Lactose.

If you have an allergy to Milk Protein (rather than Lactose) you may want to choose creams without Milk Protein. They include the Eczema & Psoriasis Cream, Soothing MSM Moisturizer and Scalp Cream.
